The Woodlands High School is one of six high schools in the Conroe Independent School District and is located just north of Houston in The Woodlands, TX. Our orchestra program houses 5 string orchestras, an electric string ensemble, a mariachi ensemble, and various chamber ensembles all of which give various performances and compete throughout the year. The program of almost 200 string players is

led by director Aaron Michaelson and assistant director Matthew Madonia. This page will be updated regularly with information and reminders about events as well as hosting live streams of our meetings and concerts throughout the year! We had an amazing time performing back on our home stage last night and hope everyone enjoyed the show! We couldn't be more proud of all our Orchestra students and how much they've accomplished this year. It's always an emotional journey to send off our seniors with our traditional Plink Plank Plunk and Time to Say Goodbye. Wishing them the best in their future and can't wait to see them back in the audience next year as alumni! Thank you to all the alumni who came back to help us celebrate.
