Congratulations to Michelle Howard! She achieved Bronze All Ironman World Athlete status for 2025!
She did this by racing 70.3 Texas, 70.3 Gulf Coast, 70.3 Victoria and the 70.3 World Championships in Taupo New Zealand in 2024. Michelle earned Age Group Ranking points, and the points total from her best three events positioned her in the top 17% of all athletes in her age group.

Coach Dana Lyons had a great day at Challenge Miami. He won his age group in the duathlon! Run 5K, bike 56 miles, run 13.1. It was at the racetrack in Homestead!
All FSC friends are invited to upcoming Athleta Friends and Family event from September 10-14 at The Woodlands Mall. There will be raffles for shop cards. Lots of comfortable and cute clothes to work out in or just hang out around your home.

Open Water Swim tomorrow at Lake Conroe at 5:30pm.
Weather looks good for this Friday for an open water swim!! As usual, we would be swimming at Dan’s place on Lake Conroe. Our approximately 300-400 yard square course is in a protected cove, marked with buoy’s at the turns and two kayaks are on the water to insure your safety.
Dana would appreciate a quick text or email [email protected] stating if you plan to swim on Friday. If you have friends that may enjoy the OWS, feel free to invite them. Julio Morales completed last weekends Cowtown Marathon races! Yes, races as in plural!! Saturday morning (7am start) he completed the 10k in 47:34 (5th in age group), then at the 8:30am 5k he ran a 23:48 (5th in age group). Then on Sunday he completed the 50k (31 miles) in 5:07:43 (8th in age group).
He is taking a much needed rest this week!

Ladies,check out the Tri Girl Sprint tri and duathlon on May 10th (Mother's Day). Great distances for beginners!

Fun Color Run at Finish Strong Coaching's Youth Summer Run Camp!

Congratulations to all Finish Strong Racing athletes to raced at Sylvan Beach on Sunday. Picture is Sharon Morin and Mark Hanlon who shared the podium as top Grandmasters athletes in the Olympic distance race! In the Sprint tri, 65 year old Jack Alexander finished 8th overall! And Irina Shikounova finished 6th in her AG. Yves Puisieux placed 5th in his AG in the duathlon and Eddie Daniels did well in his first race in a long time. Dana Lyons placed 6th overall and won his AG in the duathlon.
