Yesterday 12 TWHS FBLA students attended Area V Leadership Conference. Here are the results: Justin Wiley, 1st place in Accounting II; Maxi Cabrejos, 1st place in Future Business Leader; Natalie Perez, 2nd place in Public Speaking; Caleb Layton, 2nd place in Spreadsheet Applications; Kayla Honea, 3rd place in Business Plan Project; Helen Crawford (not pictured), 3rd in Impromptu Speaking; David Rabalais and Nicholas Wang; 4th place in Public Service Announcement; and Annaleise Parsons, 5th place in Job Interview.

Competitive Events Workshop, Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 3:00 pm in Room 252. Come to learn about the various FBLA Competitive Events.

Officers Installation and New Member Induction is tomorrow night at 6:00 pm in the LGI. Please RSVP to Mrs. Filer.

‪Our next meeting is Wednesday, September 18, at 3:00 pm in Room 252, we will be electing officers. Officer Applications are due to Mrs. Filer on September 17.‬

Social: Wednesday, 9/11/19, at Zoe’s Kitchen. Plan to be there and bring money to buy something.

Our 1st meeting will be Tuesday, August 20, at 3:00 pm in Room 252 at the Senior Campus.

We have a display at Kilt Camps and Orientations. Come by and see us.

End-of-year banquet is Wednesday, May 1, at 5:30 pm. We will give out Awards. Vote for President and Vice-president for next year. And honor our Seniors. Remember to bring money for food.

FBLA State Leadership Conference

Next Week is FBLA week. Here are our plans for the week.

Ten students attend the FBLA Area 5 Leadership Conference on Saturday. We had 7 students qualify for FBLA State Leadership Conference. Our members placed 2nd in Accounting I, 3rd in Intro to Public Speaking, 4th in Job Interview, 2nd in Journalism, 5th in Organizational Leadership, and 5th in Sports & Entertainment Management. Also, our president received Who's Who recognition.
