Today, our school honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a leader who believed deeply in the power of education, kindness, and service to change the world.

Our students recently enjoyed a wonderful field trip to the Upper Elementary Symphony at Jones Hall for the Performing Arts—an inspiring experience filled with music, creativity, and discovery.

Attending live musical events helps children strengthen listening skills, improve focus, and build an appreciation for the arts. Field trips like this connect classroom learning to the real world, spark curiosity, and expose students to experiences they may not encounter otherwise.

Our students had a wonderful time exploring the magic that happens behind the scenes at the Houston Ballet! From seeing how sets and costumes come to life to watching dancers rehearse with such grace and discipline, it was an inspiring glimpse into the world of professional performance arts. 🎭✨

We love giving our students hands-on learning experiences that spark creativity and curiosity beyond the classroom! 💫

We had a great time at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts! The children enjoyed a docent led tour through the exhibits: A Curated Life: Selections from the Collection of Andy Moran and The Maker’s Muse: Contemporary Art from the Artists of the American Society of Photographers. Afterwards, they had an art lesson and worked on their own self portraits.
