Nestled within The Woodlands, lies the is a state-licensed Interfaith Child Development Center committed to exceptional care for its students.

The school is nationally accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and inspires children, 18 months through 4th grade (Kindergarten through 4th grade afterschool program), to grow, discover, and develop a love of learning. In addition, the school also produces an amazing environment for learning in its own Science Lab and Children’s Library. The school also offers several unique programs including Spanish, extra-curricular activities such as dance and sports and has an on-site certified RN available. Interfaith prides itself on its high teacher retention rate and low student-to-teacher ratio.

50 years of growing young minds, building lasting relationships and creating memories that span generations!

As we celebrate ICDC’s 50th anniversary, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the incredible teachers who have helped make our school so special over the years. These dedicated educators are the heart of ICDC, and their love for our children and families has left a lasting impact on our community.

First up is Mrs. Laura! We are so grateful for the years of love, patience and dedication she has poured into generations of ICDC children. Thank you, Mrs. Laura, for being such a special part of our story!

Community Helpers Week is always one of our favorite weeks at ICDC!

Our students had so much fun getting an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks and emergency vehicles while meeting the incredible first responders who serve our community. The children had the opportunity to tour the vehicles, ask questions, learn about fire safety and even take home their very own fire helmets and coloring books!

A special thank you to Susan Martin with The Woodlands Township for helping coordinate this wonderful experience, along with Deputy-Specialist Brian Aguilar with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Hospital District and The Woodlands Fire Department for taking the time to visit with our students.

We love seeing the excitement on our students’ faces as they learn about the important people who help keep our community safe!

Happy Fall Break from ICDC! 🍂

Just a reminder that our school will be closed today and Monday. We wish all of our ICDC families a fun, relaxing and safe fall break!

We’re getting groovy as we count down to ICDC’s 50th anniversary!

DJ Henry and our ICDC students had a blast at their disco party, complete with lots of dancing, laughter and fun! It was just one of the many special ways we’re celebrating 50 years of Interfaith Child Development Center leading up to our big anniversary at the end of the month!

Our teachers are truly SPUD-tacular! 🥔💛

A big thank you to our wonderful ICDC Parents Club for always taking such great care of our teachers! Last week, they treated our team to a delicious baked potato bar with all the toppings and cookies for dessert.

We are so grateful for the time, thought and love our Parents Club puts into making our teachers feel appreciated. A special thank you to Christine and Alex for helping make it all come together!

Please note: The ICDC Fall Festival is a private event for current ICDC families only.

Costumes are encouraged! Families can enjoy a bounce house, petting zoo, face painting, games, crafts, snow cones and more.

Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🍎

Today, we celebrate the incredible teachers who make Interfaith Child Development Center such a special place.

We know you could choose to work anywhere, and we are so grateful you have chosen to share your time, talents and hearts with us. The patience, encouragement and love you pour into our students each day make an impact that reaches far beyond the classroom.

Show your Interfaith school spirit! Shirts are available for both children and adults with different colors and designs to choose from, including a special 50th Anniversary design!

Transition to Kindergarten families: Students are required to have a RED INTERFAITH SHIRT for field trips.

The online store is open now through October 18 at midnight.

Orders can be shipped directly to Interfaith for free and distributed to students, or for a small shipping fee, you can have your order sent directly to your home. Home orders will arrive the same time as orders delivered to the school.

Yesterday, our Interfaith Child Development Center students took a special trip to Jersey Mike’s to sing, celebrate and say THANK YOU for their incredible support of interfaithofthewoodlands!

We are so grateful for our partnership with Jersey Mike’s and for the generosity they continue to show our community. It was such a sweet way to celebrate a wonderful give back and the difference it will make for our neighbors in need.

Thank you, Jersey Mike’s, and thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated and helped make this give back such a success!
