Workshop at a summer camp CAT - Creative Acting Theater
Kids painted cats from the magical Catland on canvas with gouache.
Just look at this beautiful cats! They are very different, each a little like its creator.
I had a blast working with these little artists! I hope to see them all in my classes again.

So what can we do to develop creativity in a child? The answer is simple: we need to create the right conditions for this. This is quite easy to do:
1. Give him access to paper, pencils, and paints. Place them in a visible place, preferably right on the table, rather than in a drawer or behind a cabinet door. Let it be a special table for creativity. It will be good if there are no other toys on the table or around this table. Visual noise is distracting.
2. Make sure your child knows how to use his drawing tools. That the child can sharpen pencils, knows how to use brushes and can fill a paint cup with water.
3. From time to time, draw with pleasure, taste, and gusto in the presence of your child.
4. When a child is drawing, do not disturb him. He is focused and passionate, incredible ideas are born in his head. It is better not to interfere with the process unless the child himself asks.
In drawing lessons, I will help the child with technique so that he will have more opportunities to express himself on paper

The child mixes colors, smears paint on paper, and enthusiastically experiments with brush strokes. Why is he doing this? Oh, just because he can. He is playing, he is just having fun!
He is the creator, he is the true ruler of this picture! There are no right and wrong on this sheet of paper, no good and bad, there are only freedom and joy to be, joy to change the boring white color according to kid's desires and capabilities. The joy of play, the joy of experimentation, the joy of creativity.
And YES, the kid wants to share emotions with his loved ones, because shared joy and interest are doubly joyful and interesting!
Oh course the child will be very enthusiastic if his picture is hung on the wall and admired, but he definitely does not draw for this.
He draws for the sake of the process of drawing, and not for the sake of the result.
If he is asked to draw a picture for something specific, for some result, the child is surprised at first, but he does it. But then his creative wings disappear along with the desire to draw.
The desire to draw must be born from within, and the task of parents and art teachers is to create conditions and provide opportunities for this

What could be better for an art teacher than to see interest spark in the eyes of her little students?

One of the main things that helps you succeed in life is thinking outside the box.
Drawing is one of the tools that develop this ability.

It's good when classes are held in a group. Children get inspired by each other

Most of all I like to paint the ocean.
It cleanses and renews us, generously shares strength, calmness and patience.
I wanted to bring the ocean into my home, and now my walls are hung with these paintings.
