How can I coach a FLL remotely?? Great question! Sharing a sample FLL Game Changer: REPLAY mat that I added a grid, arcs, and angled lines. The red lines/boxes are 1ft (12 inches) and then the white lines show inches. This is just a sample until I can get a better flattened image. The idea is that my students can reference this while working remotely using the LEGO Spike Prime. Students can measure the wheel circumference to estimate how many inches (or cm) for every robot wheel rotation. Spike Prime has a movement block that is perfect for this. Students can use the angled lines to calculate distance using triangles or follow the arcs.
Updated our YouTube Channel to include new LEGO Spike Prime projects that we hope will inspire teachers and students.
