You guys are incredible. That's a cool propulsion. If you guys are going too make a inboard boat after your done with legos, then power it with an electric motor that spins about 2600 to 3100 that shares the same center shaft with a generator. (magnetic Bearings would make it quiet) and.. make it lighter, It could be a two alternators sharing the same shaft with that one motor, each alternator a GM 250 Amp one wire, then each charge back wire into a separate battery. 2600-3100 is full charge from a alternator. Two.. batteries.. each into two separate 12v Dc too 110v, 240v or 3 Phase Stack-able 2500w Convertors from a Solar Charging System. They are about $175 on ebay. Then Wire the the System together into Parallel in A/C. Making your Pump Drive Motor a Possible 3 Phase. Boat.. Giving you indefinite power for your drive(s). You could simply make a alternator for the pump shaft you already have? Then it charges the battery that it is running on currently. A Alternator requires it's own battery too cycle, so they always have too be separate, or they don't cycle. Could you kids also design a push weeding robot. Like a Push Spreader with robot arms that pick weeds from the garden as you push, it recognizing weeds from plants?? Then could that could be made into a Strawberry Picker that fills changeable baskets for Humans too Push through the Strawberry Rows Saving their Backs? It would be cool if the strawberry picker was self propelled Like it sits on mower with no deck??

How can I coach a FLL remotely?? Great question! Sharing a sample FLL Game Changer: REPLAY mat that I added a grid, arcs, and angled lines. The red lines/boxes are 1ft (12 inches) and then the white lines show inches. This is just a sample until I can get a better flattened image. The idea is that my students can reference this while working remotely using the LEGO Spike Prime. Students can measure the wheel circumference to estimate how many inches (or cm) for every robot wheel rotation. Spike Prime has a movement block that is perfect for this. Students can use the angled lines to calculate distance using triangles or follow the arcs.
