Anasi Academy

Anasi is an Arabic name for boys and girls that comes from the word “anees” describing “a friend who brings peace of mind”.

This concept of being in good company has inspired the creation of Anasi Academy, a faith-based microschool, in The Woodlands, TX with a second location coming to Clear Lake, TX. Our mission is to inspire academic excellence and deliver a peaceful, nurturing educational experience for our students through personalized learning, grounded in Islamic values, within a dedicated community that fosters

intellectual, social and spiritual growth. We offer comprehensive academic support to families seeking an alternative to the public and private school systems. As a microschool, our students are technically homeschoolers who receive academic support and enrichment at Anasi Academy. We provide homeschool support and academic enrichment in the core subjects and integrate Islamic teachings with an emphasis on character-building throughout our day.
