2024 Montgomery County Aggie Scholarship Committee :
Dedicating themselves to finding the best new Aggies in Montgomery County to award scholarships at Muster.
Ready to offer your help in this act of selfless service? Send an email to [email protected] today to find out more👍

2024 Montgomery County Aggie Scholarship Committee has completed their review of over 80+ applicants and selected 24 scholarship recipients. Scholarship applicants have been notified by email.

Each year, these Aggie volunteers start their process in October with meeting to discuss dates, documents, and divide up duties. The scholarship application period runs from December to February with the majority of applications coming in February. Committee members work in teams to visit area high schools to bring attention to our scholarship, review applications online/from home in Feb/March and select around 40+ for interviews.
In later March or April, we conduct interviews at a central meeting spot on a Thursday evening and Saturday all day. 40+ of the best, brightest new Aggies headed to Texas A&M in College Station are selected. We have AMAZING kids in the Montgomery County Area and we struggle to choose the best of the best.
It is hard work but so rewarding to meet such wonderful and deserving humans. Scholarship winners are chosen and awarded their certificates at Aggie Muster each year.

So what's keeping you from joining the process??

If you are a good Aggie who wants to help incoming Aggies in our county, please reach out to [email protected]. Meet with Scholarship Chairman Jay Hamel to see if this committee is right for you. I guarantee, you will come away with a full heart having lived your Aggie core value of selfless service.
