Last night in the Woodlands, we raised $500 for The Montgomery County Women's Center while teaching a basics of fantastic sushi to 20 people at Two Tones Dueling Piano Bar! - Way to go, the Woodlands!!!!

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of teaching two sushi classes in The Woodlands, hosted by (1) Cara and (2) Justin, who welcomed friends and family into their homes to master the basics of quality sushi. A portion of the proceeds from each class was used to purchase a selection of books on sushi making and Japanese culture from Half-Priced Books. These books are now available in the free learning library at the Marketplace Square shopping district. Thank you, Cara and Justin!!!

Giving back to the communities to make a difference - teaching middle school students how to make sushi and giving six Japanese culture presentations in the Woodlands for two full days.

Giving Back To Those In Need Today. Dayna and Josh recently hired ExploreSushi for a wonderful family sushi class celebration. Today, we used some of the proceeds from the class to fill free-food cabinets. These cabinets to offered to help hungry families when they need a meal. Thanks to Dayna and Josh, they are now filled with soups, pancake batter, Jello, canned veggies, canned fruits and baby food. Thank you Dayna and Josh!
