Transforming boys into men of faith and character through excellent music education and performance of great choral music. Raising the voices of young men in the North Houston area since 2015.
If your boy enjoys music, a boys choir can provide an extraordinary foundation for life long musical enjoyment, faith, confidence and character, preparing him for excellence in his chosen field, whether musical or not. The choral education and environment in the tradition of boys choirs instills the skills of self-discipline, expectation of excellence, self-motivation, and accomplishment. Boys sing a wide range of choral literature, from ancient chant, to master composers in music history, through spirituals and works of contemporary composers. Activities will include performances in various venues and fun learning experiences such as retreats and trips. Rehearsal times include a variety of activities involving movement and games, all the while teaching fundamental skills of music reading and singing skills. Membership is open to boys of all cultures and faiths. Tuition will be charged for music and supplies; scholarships are available. For more information or to schedule a brief audition (no preparation required), contact Sherryl S. Pond, Director, at (401) 855-3222; [email protected].
Mission: Luminari Boys Choir provides the vehicle to transform boys into men of faith and character through excellent music education and performance of inspired choral repertoire, ancient through modern. Our mission is to instill a lifelong love of music and learning in a positive and supportive environment that develops self-discipline, self-esteem and maturity, which carries them through to adulthood, whatever their chosen field.

Our auditions and rehearsals will be held at St Timothy's Anglican Church on Louetta Road in Spring; we'll be announcing our new audition cycle momentarily. In the meantime, please join us in celebrating our new name, new location, and new level of providing quality boys choir to the community.
