Come join us for our district-wide Cars & Coffee hosted by The Woodlands High School Automotive Enthusiasts Club. Admission is free and open to the public. There will be cars, trucks, and motorcycles of various styles, plus first responder/emergency vehicles. Anyone wanting to display their vehicle is welcome to do so at no charge, simply be there for the roll-in between 7:30 - 8:00 a.m.

If Prop A and any combination of Props B, C, and D are approved by voters, it is projected there will be a 2-cent impact for the 24-25 school year. Homeowners 65+ who have filed their exemption will not see an increase in their tax amount if all props in Bond 2023 pass.

Parents and Guardians are invited to Coffee Talk to address student issues and information. Based on parent feedback, we have decided to host a BONUS coffee talk this month! Our technology coordinator will present a Canvas overview. Feel free to bring your personal devices.

Within 9 years, Conroe ISD is anticipated to have approximately 100,000 students, an increase of nearly 30,000.

Keeping Youth Safe Online
Know:
• Know what apps your child is using. Some apps are designed to hide photos and other content.
• Know youth aren’t where you think they are online. Once you, a parent/guardian, are on a social site (Facebook, Instagram), your child has already found a newer, hipper one.
• Know who your child’s friends are online.
• Know how much time your child is spending on their device and apps or games.

A 2-cent tax rate impact is anticipated for 2024-2025 if voters approve Prop A and any combination of Props B, C, and/or D.

In partnership with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, the free and festive literacy event begins at 5:30 PM and encourages early reading by offering various literacy-based activities such as games, visiting with characters, making hats, and so much more. Children also have the opportunity to choose and take home a free book! 🚀📚

Due to extreme heat, varsity football games at Woodforest Bank and Moorhead Stadiums from August 24 - September 1 will start at 8 PM. Woodforest Bank Stadium games include Aldine Nimitz vs Grand Oaks; North Shore vs The Woodlands; Klein Cain vs College Park; and Stratford vs Oak Ridge. Moorhead Stadium games include Katy Paetow vs Conroe; Aldine Eisenhower vs Conroe; and Galena Park vs Caney Creek.

Conroe ISD welcomed 65 student teachers for our fall semester at a reception held this afternoon. These educators-in-training are partnered with exceptional teachers across the District to help build and develop their skills as future educators! 🍎✏️

McCullough 8th Grade Orientation Tonight!

8th grade Science students competed in an egg drop challenge and over 15 eggs survived the drop from the second floor to the first floor. Way to go future engineers! Even Mr. Harbin got in on the fun and his egg survived also!

The Highlander Band wants to share our successes with you. Over the past month, 5 of our 6 Highlander Bands traveled to UIL Contest. The top 3 Bands traveled to the Falcon Concert Festival. We also had a joint trip to Fiesta Texas with the McC Choirs.

The McCullough Charity League wrapped up another successful year with a food drive to fill the shelves at the Interfaith Food Bank. These students have fulfilled their chosen mission of "working together to come together."
