True North

True North is a Jesus-centered school, seeking to glorify God. Who is True North? The Bible is the compass that we use for direction. What is True North?

The name True North comes from our belief that the absolute truth comes from the word of God. True North is a Christian Education Parent Partnership Academy. Taught in two days a week, True North offers a full academic curriculum, as well as something Texas A&M refers to as "The Other Education." One day consists of academic classes. The second day consists of enrichment classes such as foreign la

nguage, PE, sports, guitar, karate, dance, as well as a second day of Math for those that need a little more instruction time. Why create the True North Academy? We are passionate about giving our children a quality education that includes Christ and points our children in His direction. Right now if parents do not make a lot of money their choice is public school or home school. We want to provide another option: a place where the children can meet and be instructed in a real quality curriculum, where they are instructed in a classroom environment but continue to work on teacher- designated activities and assignments at home under their parents instruction. It is a true partnership between the instructor and the homeschooling parent, teaming up to work through curriculum and ensure the child is gaining wisdom and intellect. We want to bridge the gap for those that want a different education but can not afford private school. When did True North open? True North launch its first year in the fall of 2017. How is True North going to accomplish this? True North obtained its 501(c)3 not for profit status in 2017. True North will accept a designated number of 1st through 12th grade students. We have partnered with Lone Star College to offer dual credit to our high schoolers that pass the TSI.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our high school students, staff, and parents who helped us move out this week! ❤️

After 10 incredible years in the same building, it’s bittersweet to close this chapter. So many memories, friendships, lessons, and milestones were made within these walls.

We’re grateful for every student, family, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of the journey. While we’re sad to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to us, we’re even more excited about what the future holds.

Here’s to new beginnings, new opportunities, and the next chapter ahead!
