It is with sadness that we are closing the studio. It has been an incredible almost 10 years in this location. We have enjoyed all of the families and students and teachers who have come through the door. Wishing you all the best for the future. 

Enrollment is open for the Royal Conservatory Smart start preschool music program ages 1-4, based on neuroscience. A wonderful music program and certified qualified teacher. 

Gift certificates are available for this program and our private/group classes, including music theory.

Congratulations, Daniel! 

Congratulations to Daniel Miller, CYT Houston Alumni and Teaching Artist, on earning a place in the Original Broadway cast of Harmony! Not only is he in the ensemble, but he understudies three of the lead roles and had his principal role debut last weekend in NYC!

With great sadness we share that Donald Hunsberger, director of the Eastman Wind Ensemble from 1965 to 2002, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was 91 years old.

While Don was a titan in the world of wind ensembles and conducting, he was always a good friend to his colleagues and students. To say that Eastman was in Don’s blood is an understatement – not only did he remain closely involved with the school following his retirement, but prior to his employment, he earned three degrees from Eastman: ‘54E, ‘59E (MM), ‘63E (DMA).

He will be truly missed.
