Did you know that Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world? Learning a second language is not only fun, but also gives our children a skill they can carry with them for years to come!

That’s why our friends enjoy Spanish class twice a week at Brighton Academy! 🌎✨

This month, we are exploring emotions in Spanish—learning new words while practicing how to identify and express how they feel. 😊😢😡🥰

Our Extended Care team at The Woodlands Christian Academy had an amazing time kicking off the school year with Warrior Nation Night! We are especially excited because this is our first full week of Extended Care for the year! 🎉

We have a whole year of themed afternoons planned, and we can’t wait for the fun:

🏃 Movement Monday – Get moving and have fun!
🎨 Tiny Artist Tuesday – Let those little imaginations shine!
🫧 Wacky Wednesday – Get ready for some messy fun!
🔬 Test It Out Thursday – Hands-on science experiments and discoveries!
🎉 Fri-YAY! – A surprise activity to end the week!

Each afternoon will begin with a snack, followed by our themed activity and plenty of time for outdoor fun, all conveniently taking place right here on campus at The Woodlands Christian Academy. 🌳☀️

Our friends are learning fun details about each of their new Treetop friends, like how Mr. Owl wears glasses! 👓🦉 As they get to know each character, they’re also learning important classroom expectations like listening, lining up, sharing, and caring for one another. 🤝💙

👔📚 Uniforms are back! 📚👔

After an incredible summer filled with fun, friendship, and our summer free-dress days, it’s almost time to get back into our school-year routine!

Beginning Monday, August 17, uniforms will officially begin for our Pre-K 3 and older friends. 💙✨

We’ve loved seeing all of the summer outfits and personality shine through, but we’re excited to see our friends looking sharp and ready for another year of learning, growing, and making Bright Futures! 🌟
