It is very rewarding to work with students and help them navigate the college planning journey during one of the most difficult and stressful times in their lives. I guide students in identify college goals, academics/grades, learning to advocate for themselves, college list development, essay development & workshop, test prep, scholarships, resume building, DISC analysis, career research, and so much more. Being a former high school assistant principal and adjunct college instructor, working with students is my passion. However, since the beginning of the pandemic that tends to look a little different. COVID-19 has affected people in many different ways; my family included. However, aside from the negative ways, we have been impacted, I can say one positive is that I am now able to expand my reach of helping students plan for college. In addition to serving students and families in southern Williamson County, now I also serve students and families in and around The Woodlands—one owner, two territory locations.
