Congratulations to the 1968 Slatington High School Championship Football team and their induction into the Northern Lehigh Ring of Honor, as well as Larry Parry and Frank Carazo on 1/25/19. Memories of playing on that team have been with me for 50 years and will continue forever. It wasn't only about winning, it was about our coaches daily challenges that made us responsible for our mistakes, fundamentals like relationships between teammates and coaches, developing a work ethic, great leadership and fun by teammates, outstanding team chemistry, mental toughness, overcoming obstacles, and the building of trust and confidence. These skills will be with us forever. Wish I could have attended.

NORTHERN LEHIGH RING OF HONOR

The 1968 championship football team will be inducted into the Ring Of Honor during the halftime of the Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) varsity basketball game vs. Northwestern Lehigh on January 25, 2019. This is the 50th anniversary of the school's first ever football championship! Everyone is welcome!

Glad to have shared the Eagles Super Bowl victory with "Schmitty". To bad it was not in Philly but instead in Florida. We have been Eagle fans since the 1950's and the days we played football together on the Walnutport Playground. It really has been a long haul! Very rewarding!
