We are open Monday - Friday, 730am-5pm. We are a small center with benefits of a larger center and quiet setting. Covenant Kids Corner is a DHS Licensed daycare located in the heart of the Village. Housed inside Covenant Presbyterian Church, we offer care for children 6 weeks - ready for kindergarten. We are open Monday - Friday, 9am-3pm. ent of each child’s independence physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially, all at each child’s own pace. By working as a team with the family and the community, we can help each child become their best self. Our teachers utilize developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities to bring each child to his/ her learning potential. Enrichment activities offer unique experiences and add variety to the daily classroom schedule. These programs include creative art, science exploration, sensory activities, music, and creative movement. We accept enrollment for Monday - Friday, Monday - Thursday, or Monday - Wednesday.

This week, we say a temporary goodbye to a family who has followed us through TWO moves. We have seen their sweet one from a tiny bump in the carrier to walking out our doors to the wide open world of public school. This family certainly did not have to trust us as two seperate churches closed their childcare program but we are so thankful they did. We are even more thankful that they have another little one coming soon and we get four more years with them!

I am holding onto my toddlers really hard today. Today our first toddler moved away and is no longer in our care. In my six years of running a daycare I have lost two families due to the families being unhappy with our care due to enforcement of policies such as a drop off time. I have always let the public school system borrow my children during the school year but I get them back. I will miss our little one and hold our other toddlers as long as they allow.

We have four fall spots available, two at the begining of August and 2 in the middle of August. If you are interested in a spot for your little one or big one, please reach out to us. We have three tuition plans available and the price goes from 150 to 275 a week depending on the age and time needed for your family. Our program offers fresh food, fresh air and a lack of screen time. We offer programs rich in self help skills, independence and social emotional growth. We cover the basics through play and use the whole body and brain throughout the day. We are open Monday through Friday 730 to 5.
We currently have one spot available for a child under two.

We have a few spots available in our new building. We offer a complete lack of screen time, a fresh diet of fruits and veggies and spend as much time outdoor as weather and sun permit. We have three plans available from part time to full time care. They range from 150 a week to 275 a week with factors such as age of the child etc. We are located at 12000 N Virginia Ave, OKC. We had a very successful first day in the new building! We are using this week to relax and learn the new space and then starting next week we have room for four new friends if anyone is looking for care!

One of the first steps in opening a daycare is chosing a name. It should be an easy step but I was not prepared to face it first. The Sandbox was chosen out of love for the idea of being yourself and accepting others as themselves. There are two references that come to my mind that led me to the Sandbox. When I was little, I remember you played with whoever was in the sandbox and were accepting of all. The second is a gaming reference to a sandbox world. In case you are not familiar, it is an open world where you can create your character and play the way you like. If you are quiet and avoid the other characters, that is okay. If you make friends with everyone, that is okay. It is okay to be you.
