While imprisoned in Iolani Palace, Hawai’i’s Queen, Liliu’okalani, composed this beautiful song. The lyrics were, quite noticeably, a mixture of Hawai’ian and English. Hello followers. I just read on this page that Ho’okipa ukuleles page has 95 followers AND when I get 100 followers I will be able to see information on my “followers”. I was instructed to ask my FB friends from my personal page to like my Ho’okipa page and “follow it”. Makes no sense to me—these are personal friends, not necessarily at all interested in ukuleles. But if YOU are a fan of handmade, beautiful and tuneful instruments, please share my page and get me 5 more followers before the dust has settled. I am curious about who says they “follow me”. Curiosity is a bad itch!
