Our goal is to help you be successful in whatever educational program or activity you choose. At Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC), you can complete your first two years of college and then transfer to a four-year university. Or you can take a career/technical program to qualify for a job. CGCC also provides you with opportunities to pursue special interests or to broaden your education. You

can go to school full-time to finish a program in one or two years, or attend part-time and just take a class or two.

CGCC’s Associate of Science Transfer in Computer Science helps students build a strong foundation before transferring to a university to complete a bachelor’s degree.

Big news for CGCC! 🎉
Columbia Gorge Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing program has been named the U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Training and Assessment Center of the Year for Manufacturing Outcomes.

This national honor recognizes CGCC’s measurable impact supporting small and mid-sized manufacturers through technical assistance, industry engagement, and hands-on problem-solving. CGCC’s ITAC helps regional businesses improve productivity, reduce material waste, and lower energy use—while giving students valuable experience with advanced manufacturing technology.

Students prepare for careers in CNC machining, robotics, additive manufacturing, and quality assurance while working on real-world projects such as 3D printing, rapid prototyping, process improvement, and manufacturing assessments.

We are proud of our students, faculty, industry partners, and everyone helping strengthen manufacturing and workforce development across the Gorge!
