Our talented student artists brought so much creativity to The Colony Public Library for the incredible 4 Paws 1 Heart Art Show! 🐾🎨 From vibrant masterpieces to heartwarming animal portraits, our students poured their love for furry friends into every single brushstroke.
A huge thank you to The Colony Public Library for hosting us, and to our amazing organizers and collaborators: Ms. Lentz (Ethridge Elementary), Ms. Griffin (Camey Elementary), Teacher Mori (Memorial Elementary), and our very own art teacher, Ms. Kincheloe, for helping bring this wonderful vision to life! Swipe through to check out some of the amazing artwork on display and see our proud artists shine! ✨🐱🎨🖌️🐾

Panther Families,

I believe it is important to share information with you about situations on our campus, even if it may not have directly impacted your student. Today, our campus went into a Hold while campus administration and medical personnel assisted a student on our campus experiencing a medical emergency.

During a Hold, all hallways are cleared, and students remain inside their classrooms to allow administration and first responders uninterrupted access to respond to the situation. While this did impact dismissal, I am proud of the way our students, families, and staff handled this situation.

As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your continued support of our campus.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Chirinos
Principal
Peters Colony Elementary

First graders bridged science with Hispanic Heritage Month! They’ve been learning about how matter changes when it’s heated or cooled in science. They read Paletero Man and ate popsicles outside at the end of the day, while making observations about how matter changes in the heat!
