Today’s student convocation gave our students the chance to connect, meet new friends, dance, and enjoy some delicious food!

We were also honored to hear some inspiring remarks from our keynote speaker, Jasmine Taby, and connect students with campus resources and opportunities to get involved. We’re excited to see all that our students will accomplish this semester!

We invite the Bronx Community College community to join us tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. outside Language Hall for a September 11th 25th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony as we pause to remember, reflect, and honor those whose lives were forever impacted by September 11, 2001.

The ceremony will include a National Anthem and Flag Ceremony, memorial wreath placement, a moment of silence, and reflections from BCC student, faculty, and community voices.

Together, we will honor the victims of September 11, first responders and recovery workers, members of the armed forces, their families, and all those who continue to carry the impact of that day.
