Santa Maria School

The time has come to go our separate ways, but this is Santa Maria School and we don't pass up an opportunity to have fun! A final dance party to remind us that SMS is a family, not a building. While I have this platform for just a little while longer, I (Ms. Best!) would like to say how proud I am to be part of this school. The students are some of the most well-rounded, polite, creative, and caring children I've ever met. The faculty and staff are a family of the most wonderful people who care about these students as if they are their own children. Thank you to all of our Santa Maria families who have made this community so special. Although our doors may close, please remember that Santa Maria Spirit is forever!

FIELD DAY! Thank you to Mrs. Fanzo and her fabulous 6th grade assistants for organizing today's fun-filled activities!

This week is all about making memories! Yesterday, we all took a field trip to enjoy some bowling at Whitestone Lanes. Today, the field trip came to us as we had a very special visit from our friends at Insectropolis! Students learned about some very cool bugs and got to pet a few as well! 🎳🪱🪲🕷🦋

Congratulations to our 2022-23 graduates! These students have the unique honor of being Santa Maria School's final graduating class and we know they will continue to make us proud as they move on to high school and beyond. In a show of appreciation to this wonderful class, we celebrated Class Day on Wednesday, in which students in lower grades are able to perform a song or poem to inspire our graduates and give them a proper send off!

Today we celebrated the father figures in our lives! Wishing a happy early Father's Day to all of the special guys that make our world a better place! 🍩☕

Mr. Moore's eighth graders went on an adventure yesterday to the Intrepid museum, followed by a speedboat tour on The Beast!
