We believe that children have three spheres of influence in Christian education: home, church and school. We understand the importance of our role and take seriously our responsibility to reflect the light of God’s teaching.
The Word of God absolutely has a place in children’s education, so we deliberately weave God’s truths into all aspects of our challenging curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Sports Day was wonderful. We had a great time at the Park. Our students did well. The Yellow House won, Blue House came in second and the Red House third. Congrats, we are all winners!

Now, we are ready for our Graduation and Award Ceremony tomorrow 6/13/14. All of our students will be awarded.

Thank God, for the first time our church sponsored school, City of Faith Christian School, is graduating a class of 5th graders along with our usual K5 class. It is a great delight to congratulate the graduating class of 2014.

Our students and staff are ready to compete on Sports Day. This will be held at Van Cortlandt Park, West 242nd Street and Broadway at 10am on Friday, June 6, 2014. Parents are welcomed to join us if your schedule allows.

I am sure our students and staff will have a fun filled day!

Our Science Fair is scheduled for May 22, 2014. Our students are working really hard on their reports, display board, and models. Come witness science in 3D! May the Lord grant inspiration to the minds of our children.

It has been a great week at COFCS! Our children are doing well! To God be the glory! Next Friday will be our Fish Fry Fund Raising. Please support our school.

We have a very busy and interesting quarter ahead of us - Spring Concert, sharing our projects, SATs, Track & Field Day, Family Day, and Graduation & Recognition exercises. It promises to be exciting!

Thank God for our eight smart students who are competing in the ACSI sponsored Math Olympics at Evangel Christian School, New York City today. We are trusting God for good success. We are praying for all the participants.
