Bridging the Gap and Being an Outlet for the Youth is something we value at Down To The Wire ‼️ We sat down with the Creator of to discuss his mission & how the youth can get involved. Michael started this with the intent to express yourself while developing your game whether it’s 1v1 or 5v5 Runs. “Peace N Love Basketball, It’s bigger than the game it’s about community, energy, and bringing people together the right way.” -

is also held in the Boy’s Club of New York Gerry Clubhouse . A local Non-Profit after school program on the Eastside of Harlem that elevates young men through Academic & Athletic opportunities. Look out for some collaborations with & in the near future‼️

We pulled up to early last year in the beginning of the season and had a sit down with .1 , & ._ . We got to break down their individual play-style & They shared their sentiments about how last year ended for them and how they wanted to end this year. It’s safe to say they came through on their promise ! Not only did the young men of clinch the BX borough championship for the 5th year in a row , they also captured that illustrious PSAL City Championship 🏀🏆. These 3 seniors truly left their mark during their tenure and we are expecting Great things from the moving forward ‼️

A Little less then a year ago we had the privilege of sitting with the Legendary Coach Bud Pollard of . Fresh off a City Championship in 2025 the Orange Wave are built a culture around brotherhood and Team work under the hand of Coach bud. “The Connor special” & Championship banner in the corner store is a clear representation of how the community rallies behind these young men.

The Game of Basketball can be very similar to life itself . We may THINK we have it figured out but our paths have already been set. While speaking with @coachryang_ at Canarsie highschool this theme presented itself when we discussed @jpthatway impact on the @canarsiembb team this season . Even though Jayden is a lethal slasher to the rim , his biggest impact was shooting the Rock 🏀‼️ shooting an IMPRESSIVE 70% from beyond the arc this season , he not only showed his versatility but his willingness to be selfless for the success of his team . Coaches like @coachryang_ may see something in you that you don’t see for yourself , it’s always important to STAY a student of the game . The sky is truly the limit for this young man, this coach and this program 💫💫 05/16/2025
