Educational field trips open the world for our scholars, turning curiosity into real, lived experience. When scholars step outside the classroom to explore museums, parks, performances, and community spaces, learning becomes tangible and joyful. These shared adventures spark wonder, deepen understanding, and strengthen classroom bonds. Field trips remind students that knowledge isn’t confined to four walls—it’s everywhere, waiting to be discovered together through hands‑on exploration, community connections, and shared discovery.

Second grade scholars embark on a culinary journey at where they learned how to prepare delicious fresh pizzas from scratch! 🍕🧑🏿‍🍳👩🏾‍🍳🧑🏽‍🍳

Building scholar identity means helping every child see themselves as capable, valued, and powerful. Through daily choices, sharing their stories, celebrating their strengths, and giving them meaningful roles, Classical scholars learn to understand who they are and who they can become. When classrooms honor voice, culture connections, creative expression and leadership, scholars develop a strong sense of belonging and confidence that carries into every part of their learning journey.

Student engagement comes alive when learning feels meaningful, interactive, and full of possibility. When scholars are invited to think deeply, collaborate, and make choices in their learning, they lean in with curiosity and confidence. Engaged students ask questions, take risks, and see themselves as active participants in the classroom community. By designing lessons that spark interest and honor student voice, teachers help every child feel connected to the work and excited to grow through purposeful learning, active participation, and student voice.

From the classroom to Canada 🇨🇦🚌 Our 7th graders are making memories, exploring new places, and celebrating an amazing year together! From laughs on the bus to adventures across the city, this trip is one for the books. 💙

Check out our 7th and 8th graders becoming chefs at Taste Bud Kitchen! From teamwork and communication to following recipes and building confidence, our scholars are learning life skills both inside AND outside the classroom.

We were also excited to celebrate students receiving their awards, showcasing their musical talents, and skills during a fun game of tic-tac-toe basketball! 🏀🎶✨
