The full modernization of the first elevator car in the 1935 Tower and the first elevator car in the 1945 Tower is officially starting Monday morning (4/22). This means that as of Monday (at approximately 8:00 AM), only one elevator will be in service in each building for the duration of the modernization ("mod").
Attached for reference is an elevator mod project summary with important information including the overall project timeline, ways to help increase efficiency, service and communication.
Again, throughout this project, the Housing Office pledges to work in the best interest of our student residents. The Office will continue working alongside Schindler to target plans that may minimize the inconvenience of our residents.
We also thank everyone who was joined us in the lobby for the Town Hall meeting yesterday night to discuss concerns and other information.
