Metropolitan College of New York was honored to host our neighbors, Destination Tomorrow, The Bronx LGBT Center, for the Citywide Legislative Breakfast: Catalyzing Support for Our City's Most Vulnerable.
Produced by Larry Scott Blackmon, MPA alumnus and CEO of the Blackmon Organization, the breakfast brought together advocates, community leaders, elected officials, and service providers to discuss the challenges facing LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers and the work being done to address them. Participants focused on charting the path forward and identifying opportunities for collaboration and action.
Under the leadership of Sean Coleman, Destination Tomorrow has grown into a nationally recognized organization and is quickly becoming a model for LGBTQIA+ organizations and community centers serving people of color.
Thank you for choosing MCNY. We are committed to equity, opportunity, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community across New York City.

MCNY is proud to be at the forefront of supporting fathers and strengthening families.
Director of the MCNY Fatherhood Initiative, Dads Who Lead, Dr. Denise Roberts, and Dean Hui-Yin Hsu represented Metropolitan College of New York at the inaugural New York State Fatherhood Convening. The historic gathering brought together more than 100 leaders from child welfare, juvenile justice, and human services to launch the Statewide Fatherhood Steering Committee.
Co-hosted by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the convening focused on elevating the role of fathers in building stronger children, families, and communities. We are honored to be part of this important work and proud to help lead the conversation forward.

Twenty years before Metropolitan College of New York was founded, thousands of Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, changing the course of history through extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and service.
Today, we honor the brave men and women who fought for freedom on June 6, 1944, and all veterans who have answered the call to serve, then and now.
At MCNY, we are proud to support those who have served through our Veterans Center of Excellence, helping veterans continue their journeys through education, career advancement, and opportunity.
