This past Sunday, Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter once again participated in the Bronx Week Parade along with our D9 family and the numerous organizations that help make the Bronx great. It was a celebration of our wonderful Borough- the people, the music, and our culture.
This year, in addition to a stroll performance we also performed a brief step routine. We are always happy to showcase Zeta pride, and we will certainly be back next year! đ
How did we do? Let us know in the comments! đđż

Happy Motherâs Day to the incredible mothers, mother figures, mentors, and nurturers who pour love into the next generation every single day. đ
This Motherâs Day, we are especially proud to celebrate the beautiful bond between our youth auxiliaries and the women guiding them with grace, strength, wisdom, and care. From Sorors raising future leaders to mothers supporting their daughters through every stage of growth, your impact reaches far beyond your own homes and into our entire community.
These moments captured remind us that legacy is not only taught â it is modeled. Through service, scholarship, sisterhood, leadership, and love, you continue to shape the future right here in the Bronx.
To all the mothers who lead with compassion and purpose, we honor you today and always. Happy Motherâs Day from the Sorors of Kappa Epsilon Zeta and our beloved youth auxiliaries. đ¸â¨

During Nurses Week, we proudly celebrate the incredible Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated who serve our communities with compassion, excellence, and unwavering dedication. đ
In the Bronx, Black and Brown nurses are more than healthcare professionalsâthey are advocates, educators, protectors, and trusted voices within our neighborhoods. They understand the lived experiences of the communities they serve and help bridge the gap in healthcare access, maternal health, patient trust, and culturally competent care every single day.
From hospitals and clinics to schools and community programs, our Sorors continue to embody the principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood through their commitment to healing others.
To every nurse making a difference in the lives of Bronx families: we see you, we honor you, and we thank you. Your work changes communities and saves lives. đŠşâ¨

Maternal health is more than a womenâs issueâitâs a community issue. đ
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Kappa Epsilon Zeta Chapter was honored to partner with the Bronx Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated for an impactful conversation centered on Black maternal health, advocacy, education, and equity.
Together, we explored maternal health from multiple perspectivesâmedical, mental health, community support, and lived experienceâwhile addressing the realities of health disparities that continue to impact Black women and families at disproportionate rates. Through honest dialogue and meaningful insight, we reinforced the importance of advocacy, culturally competent care, and creating safer outcomes for our communities.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible panelists for sharing their expertise and experiences:
⢠Soror Juleen Johnson-Augustin
⢠Dr. Lena Green, DSW, LCSW
⢠Marjorie Davis, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
⢠Denise Ora Rolle, BSN, RN, AMB-BC

For many women, a mammogram is just another appointment.
For Black women, it can be life-saving.
Black women are more likely to be diagnosed with aggressive forms of breast cancer and are often diagnosed at later stages, making early detection especially critical. Access, education, and early screening can change outcomesâand save lives.
Thatâs why Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to partner with Luis SepĂşlveda and Chantel Jackson to bring FREE mammogram screenings directly to the Bronx community on May 15, 2026, from 9:00 AMâ4:30 PM at 1665 Hoe Avenue, Bronx, NY 10460.
We are asking our community to help us spread the word. Share this flyer with the women you loveâmothers, sisters, aunties, friends, neighbors, and sororsâand encourage them to call the office or scan the QR code to secure an appointment. Early scheduling helps ensure access for those who need it most.
Healthcare access is community care. Awareness is advocacy. Early detection saves lives.
Together, we can make a lasting impactâone screening at a time. đ
