had an amazing time at Nycmcs 2016 field day!!!! Go blue!!!

delicious vegetarian gourmet meal made from our "chopped champion challenge" farmers market finds. So proud of all the kids for trying everything and being adventurous. First three different flatbreads: lavender, blueberry lemon and orange goat cheese topped with pears. Next: roasted spaghetti squash with Gouda, Parmesan, tomatoes and chives flowers. Roasted radishes with balsamic vinegar and roasted asparagus. Salad with assorted greens radishes sunflower greens flowers and apples. Fiddlehead ferns- gross. Lastly strawberry shortcakes which were later topped with whipped cream. We are officially Chopped champions!!!!

Working very hard in Aurora Borealis! using technology to research, explore, investigate and write our literary essays, finding some relaxation before the big tests, celebrating earth day and having a picnic. life is good.
