Thought I’d share an EASY sustainable action everyone can perform - Use all of an item in a container 😉

Do not trash/recycle the container until you get all of the product…you might have to be creative in accessing it though. Sharing a few recent examples of me doing this action - last bit of toothpaste, last of some olive oil, and the part of healing ointment that never comes out of the tube🤣

Business Update

After major reflection, I’ve decided to fully close EcoBronx LLC.

As you know, I now reside in Ithaca (NY) which has options for community members to purchase sustainable living product. Additionally, I’ve found it extremely difficult to juggle my full-time job, be a present parent , and provide the required time to market an online shop.

The hopes is to fully close the shop by end of the month so please pay attention to our stories for updates.

There is a lot of plastic packaging and waste associated with conventional body care (aka personal care) products. In addition, it can be expensive purchasing sustainable (and plastic free) alternatives.

We strongly encourage people to buy only what they need when they need it. For example, make the switch to plastic free dental floss as about to finish the floss have.

We also recommend saving up the funds needed to invest in the more expensive alternatives like a safety razor or a menstrual cup.

In honor of we have automatically reduced our body care products by 50% until July 15.

Sustainable hair care can be quite tricky especially if you’ve had a set hair care routine. But thankfully I found somethings that work and I enjoy such as a shampoo bar and plastic-free hair ties.

A common question we get is why should one manage their sweat from a sustainable aspect…especially if the conventional way works.

Some of our common answers include

1. Limit plastic packaging
2. Halt putting toxins into your body and on your skin
3. Natural way to control your odor and allow your body to perform cooling mechanism
