On Thursday, April 23, 17 students from The Young Women’s Leadership School of the Bronx had the honor of attending a taped interview of All In with Chris Hayes of MSNOW and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

The mayor reflected on the triumphs and challenges of his first 100 days in office and answered real New Yorkers’ questions about housing, education, tax policy, food access, and his affordability agenda.

Our aspiring TYWLS journalists had the chance to meet several of the All In production team and ask questions about their paths of study and careers. From behind-the-scenes, students witnessed just how many people (50? 75?) collaborate over the course of a day to film just one hour of television programming.
