Officers of the Texhoma FFA chapter participated in the 2026 OKFFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training (C**T) Conference on September 22 at the Enid Events Center in Enid, Oklahoma.
The eight state FFA officers planned and conducted this year's conference, which was centered around the theme, "Go Forth and Conquer." The training focused on conflict resolution and the importance of having crucial conversations, encouraging officers to communicate effectively, work through challenges, and lead their chapters with confidence. Elected officers from each of the 63 high school FFA chapters in the northwest area attended the conference.

President: Gunner Wilson
Vice President: Kinley Jo Tolle

On Thursday, Texhoma FFA Chapter Officers from the Ag Leadership class, Ivana Alvarado-Corral and Kinley Jo Tolle, visited Texhoma ISD to read Farm Boots to elementary students!
They enjoyed sharing an agriculture story with the students and helping celebrate Read an Accurate Ag Book Week, brought to you by Oklahoma Farm Bureau. We love opportunities to connect agriculture and education with our younger students!

Kinley Jo Tolle recently attended OKFB Capitol Camp, where she got hands-on experience learning about Oklahoma agriculture, government, and leadership. She worked with a senator, developed and presented a mock bill focused on funding for mobile veterinary services, and also spent time serving others through community service at the regional food bank.

We’re proud of Kinley Jo for representing Texhoma FFA and making the most of this great leadership opportunity!

Texhoma FFA had a great day at the Woodward County Free Fair Open Livestock Judging Contest, with over 350 contestants competing from all over Oklahoma. Our Senior A Team stepped up and finished 3rd Overall Team, a huge accomplishment against some tough competition!
The Senior A Team was made up of Chloe Bales, Kinley Jo Tolle, Gunner Wilson, and Keaton Ferguson. Individually, Kinley Jo Tolle was the 3rd High Senior Individual, while Gunner Wilson was the 5th High Senior Individual. Congratulations to these four on an outstanding day!
I also want to recognize Quinn Skelton, Bentley Alexander, Wyatt Clinesmith, Ivana Alvarado-Corral, and Craig Jaegar, who have been traveling to contests and putting in the time to practice and improve their skills.
As a whole, this group has really stepped it up, and it is exciting to see the progress being made. I am proud of the work these students are putting in and the way they continue to represent Texhoma FFA. The future of livestock judging at Texhoma is looking bright!
