1️⃣ Get up = Se lever
👉 I get up at 6 a.m.
👉 Je me lève à 6h

2️⃣ Get in = Entrer / monter (voiture)
👉 Get in the car!
👉 Monte dans la voiture !

3️⃣ Get off = Descendre (bus, taxi, moto)
👉 I got off the bus early
👉 Je suis descendu du bus tôt

4️⃣ Get ahead = Réussir / progresser
👉 Work hard to get ahead
👉 Travaille dur pour réussir

5️⃣ Get ready = Se préparer

Do you know how to talk about your family in English? 🤔
Let’s learn the basics!

👉 Close Family: Famille restreinte
✔️ Father (Dad): Père
✔️ Mother (Mom): mere
✔️ Brother: frère
✔️ Sister: Soeur

👉 Extended Family: famille élargie
✔️ Uncle: oncle
✔️ Aunt: tente
✔️ Cousin: cousin
✔️ Grandfather (Grandpa): grand père
✔️ Grandmother (Grandma): grand mère

💡 Example Sentences:
👉 “My father is a teacher.”
👉 “I have two brothers.”
👉 “My cousin lives in Kinshasa.”

⚠️ Common mistake:
❌ “He is my cousin brother”
✅ “He is my cousin”

🎯 Quick Tip:
Use “my” to talk about your family:
👉 my mother, my uncle, my sister…
