College of the Mainland’s TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) students recently traveled to Walt Disney World for a four-day educational workshop through the Disney Imagination Campus program.

Throughout the experience, students participated in sessions focused on Leadership the Disney Way, Immersive Storytelling and Theme Park Design. They gained insight into the planning and operations behind Walt Disney World while collaborating in teams to develop their own theme park concepts.

The workshop allowed students to strengthen important professional skills, including leadership, communication, creativity and teamwork. Students also attended presentations with Disney Imagination Campus leaders to learn more about the Disney College Program and additional paid internship opportunities available to college students.

Through TRIO SSS, students have access to experiences that support their academic, personal and professional growth while helping them explore opportunities for their futures.
