🎨✨🎶 Celebrating Arts in Education Week! 🎶✨🎨

The arts open doors to creativity, inspire new ways of thinking and bring learning to life. From bold strokes on a canvas to powerful performances on stage, our students shine through the visual arts and performing arts.

Art is more than expression. It's a way to learn, grow and inspire others. This week, we honor the teachers, students and community members who keep creativity thriving in our schools. 🌟

We're proud to be a District of Distinction from the Texas Art Education Association for the 8th year in a row, and we are proud Texas City ISD has earned the NAMM Foundation's Best Communities for Music Education designation for seven consecutive years! 🏆🎵 These honors reflect our unwavering commitment to excellence in arts education.

Let's continue to celebrate the magic of the arts that challenges, educates and inspires every learner! 💡🎭🖌️

Today, we remember.

On Patriot Day, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognize the extraordinary courage and sacrifice shown by first responders and ordinary citizens on that day and in the days that followed.

September 11 is also Texas First Responders Day, giving us another opportunity to thank the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals and other first responders who serve our communities every day.

TCISD remembers those we lost, honors those who serve and expresses our gratitude to the first responders who stand ready when we need them most.
