Today, we had the honor of welcoming back Travis Mueller from Kohfeldt’s GT Class of 1999–2000 to open a time capsule that was buried 25 years ago.

Inside were letters, movie tickets, Beanie Babies, a cassette tape, musical programs, and so many memories frozen in time. It was incredibly special for our students to see pieces of childhood from another generation and hear firsthand about the memories behind them.

One of the best parts was hearing that, as a 9-year-old student, Mr. Mueller wrote that his goal was to become a lawyer. We were able to talk with our students about the importance of goal setting, dreaming big, and working hard toward the future they want for themselves. It was such a powerful reminder that the goals our students set today can shape their tomorrow.

We are so thankful Mr. Mueller traveled to be here and share this experience with us. Moments like these remind us how powerful school memories and traditions can be. What an awesome opportunity for our students and staff to be part of!
