🔬📚 STEM learning starts with curiosity—and stories can spark plenty of it!

As we wrap up our Taletic series, we’re inviting Raising Stars STEM Center families to try a different kind of storytelling experience together.

Taletic allows children to explore personalized stories while imagining characters, adventures, possibilities, and “what happens next?” moments.

Those little questions can lead to big conversations. 💡✨

Give it a try and let your child take the lead in the story!

Before September ends, invite your little scientist to think about something they discovered this month! 🔬🌟

Ask:
👀 “What did you notice?”
🤔 “What made you curious?”
💡 “What did you figure out?”

You don't need a science experiment to encourage scientific thinking. Everyday observations—why leaves change, how shadows move, what sinks or floats—can become opportunities for questions and discovery.

Keep their curiosity going as you head into a new month!

Can storytime become a STEM challenge? Absolutely! 🔬📖✨

Turn a story into a chance to predict, problem-solve, and explain.

Try pausing during an adventure and asking:

🧠 “What could our character try?”
🔎 “What might happen?”
💡 “Can you think of another solution?”

⚙️ FUN FACT!

Did you know children can practice engineering thinking during everyday play?

When they figure out how to make something stand, move, connect, or work, they're already thinking like little engineers! 🔧🧠

One challenge. Different materials. Lots of STEM thinking! 🔬✨

Try giving your child a simple building challenge and let them experiment with different materials.

Instead of focusing on whether their first attempt works, ask:

“What could we change?”

That's where curiosity, experimentation, and problem-solving come into play. 🚀

🚀 Take the story into the real world!

A space adventure can inspire a rocket-building challenge.

A story about animals can inspire an animal habitat.

A story about a journey can inspire map-making.

Read → Wonder → Create.

What happens when storytelling meets STEM? 🚀🔬

A story can become a problem-solving adventure!

A character needs to build something, travel somewhere, or overcome an obstacle—and suddenly children have a reason to imagine, question, and think of solutions.

That's one reason storytelling and guided play can create meaningful opportunities for reasoning and problem-solving. ✨

With Taletic, children can step into personalized adventures and let their curiosity lead the way.

Take a familiar story and change one thing.

“What if the house was underwater?”
“What if the character could fly?”
“What if the story happened on Mars?”

Then ask your child what else would need to change.

This is a simple way to turn storytelling into a mini thought experiment—encouraging children to make connections, predict outcomes, and think creatively. 🚀

Taletic offers another fun way to explore personalized storytelling by placing children into imaginative adventures of their own. ✨
