Last Sunday, the FSLA Scholarship closed.
This week, we finished selecting the amazing final 10 students out of 17 entries!
Tomorrow, Monday, we will be starting the interviews so we can finish selecting the 6 recipients of the Scholarship.
Next Sunday, the 6 recipients will be selected and will start enrollment process.

We are so overwhelmed and happy by the amount of students that can benefit from this Scholarship! Due to the amount of applicants AND the amount of students needing a Salon Program opportunity, the Foundation has decided to open up 3 more spaces for 3 more lucky students!
The last day to receive applications was supposed to be this Sunday, but they have extended it until the Sunday (January 19, 2025) after to allow for more applications to come in.

There will now be 3 Mobile Program Scholarships and 3 Salon Program Scholarships!

Dear Potential Students: we have exciting news!
We have officially partnered with a Foundation dedicated to the ethical treatment of animals.
The Foundation is offering a scholarship of 50% off to 3 new students! It’s pretty easy to apply. All you need to do is visit our website (grooming-academy-of-Texas.square.site) and request a New Student Kit. We will reply with all of our school’s info plus scholarship opportunities.
If you are selected, you will be receiving a text message from the Academy letting you know you’ve been selected! Then you will be able to pick a time for a phone call to take place as part of the interview process and for you to make your selections.

Before you apply, please be aware of the following requirements:
1. You must be a new student, not a graduate or previously enrolled student.
2. The scholarship is offered for the mobile program only for now (located in Bandera County, Texas).
3. Selected students must start their new program within 60 days.
4. Selection is contingent on the new student committing to a paid internship in the mobile where they trained for 6 months after graduation.
5. The remaining 50% of the program’s cost not covered by the Foundation must be paid in full by the first day of class.
6. Once in the program, student must have positive results to pass each week’s evaluation according to the Academy’s standards, otherwise the scholarship may be revoked or/and the student will be dismissed.

We are so happy to provide this opportunity and hopefully, if we have good results, the Foundation will be offering additional spots in the summer!
