Our little mathematicians in Ms. Wisenbaker's classes built their own rekenrek bracelets and used them to explore different ways to make 10! Hands-on learning helps our babies see, touch, and understand how numbers work together...building strong number sense and a foundation for addition and subtraction.

Learning math is even better when we can wear it!

🧪🔬 Hands-On Science in 5th Grade! 🔬🧪

Our 5th grade scientists in Mrs. Wilkes' Class have been busy exploring mass, volume, and relative density through hands-on investigations! Students observed density columns with layered liquids and added objects to see how their relative densities affected where they settled.

They also used water displacement to measure the volume of a marble and a ping-pong ball and digital scales to measure each object’s mass. What a great way to bring science concepts to life through observing, measuring, and investigating! 💡📏⚖️
