Our Barbering Academy was founded with a clear vision to help aspiring barbers not only complete their program, but also succeed and thrive in their careers. Since our academy's inception, we have consistently achieved this goal.
Our academy welcomes students from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or cultural background. We strongly believe in creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment where students can grow and thrive. Our comprehensive program covers everything from basic techniques to advanced skills, ensuring that our students are well-rounded and prepared for success in the industry.
Students at our academy do not need any prior qualifications to enroll in our program. We provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment where students can hone their craft and develop their skills. Our curriculum includes hands-on training, theoretical knowledge, and essential skills like proper shave techniques and using a straight razor.
In order to graduate from our academy and qualify for the state licensing exam, students must complete 1528 hours of training. Our full-time students can complete these hours in as little as two semesters, while part-time students may take up to four semesters. We go beyond just preparing students for the exam; we also focus on teaching important life skills, such as the art of conversation and business acumen.
We encourage our students to take advantage of the free business seminars offered through our Small Business Center. We believe that in order to be successful in the industry, barbers need to understand not only the technical aspects of the trade but also the business side of things. Our goal is to empower our students to not only find success as barbers but also to become leaders in their community.
Our academy is committed to changing perceptions of what it means to be a barber and instilling in our students the values of professionalism, entrepreneurship, and community involvement. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of barbers and ensuring that the traditions of the craft are upheld and passed on to future generations.
