Good morning, TRACE families!

Today is our last day before spring break. We will return April 14th and 15th, and then we have 6 weeks left of classes. Our last day of classes will be May 19th and 20th.

We are diligently working to complete the class catalog for 2026/27 and that will be available soon!

Enjoy spring break and we will see you in two weeks!

✨ Here’s the thing: If everyone waits, those classes will stay empty! So go ahead and register for the classes you're excited about — your sign-up might be just what encourages someone else to join too!

In Love Thy Neighbor (manners and etiquette) class, Ms. Anne-Marie has been teaching our Elementary kids to put others first by being kind this month. One fun activity they have enjoyed to bring home the lesson is helping unfreeze our friends in a game of freeze tag!

Our TRACE Cross Country Team showed out this morning at the Run Teal There’s a Cure 5K at Spring Lake Park.

Emery Matthews won 1st in her division,
Aidan Murphy won 2nd in his division, and Jacob Renfroe came in 4th in his division! Congratulations to all of our runners and to our fantastic Coach Angela Gideons!

Homeschool Learning Groups are popping up around the nation. This article by HSLDA really helps clear up the differences between them.

So where does TRACE fit?

The word co-op, short for cooperative, is what most are familiar with, but the word is often misused or misunderstood. Co-ops, formal or informal, are generally more for enrichment purposes.

TRACE falls under the University Model/Hybrid umbrella. Elementary prepares for Middle School. Middle School prepares for High School. And High School prepares for College. Though we offer some elective-type classes, most of our classes are rigorous, core courses that are needed to fulfill requirements for graduation.
