Tomorrow is the Big Day! I am ready to welcome all of my students to a brand new year of learning, fun, and collaboration. Some students are brand new and some are returning for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th year. There's a whole lot of Math and ACT work to be done, so let's get to it! It's going to be another GREAT year!

Daniel Ayers - this is what determination looks like. This young man is focused on his goal and is willing to put in the time and effort to achieve it. Just look at him…he was locked in this afternoon during session. He and so many others have been putting in the work since school let out getting ready for the Saturday’s test. Striving for a 35!

Maddax, Anna Leigh, Katherine, and Annabelle - lots of laughter and friendly competition in this group. Four different high schools represented but they all shared a common goal…improve their ACT scores. And boy did they!! Each of them had a 5+ increase in their composite scores. Annabelle had a perfect 36 reading and she and Anna Leigh joined the 30+ Composite Club. Effort=Results!

The TWINS - Wyatt and Gabriella Cowan - are multi-year students at ZachsMath. When they started Math tutoring with me in middle school, they were students at TISD.

They are both brilliant students and they came to me not because they were struggling, but because they wanted to get AHEAD. They are constantly challenging themselves and looking to take advantage of every opportunity that will help them grow.

Wyatt & Gabby just finished their Junior year at ASMSA - SO brave to live away from home at 16 yrs old! Wyatt spent the last week at Arkansas Boys State, and Gabriella is currently in Japan as an exchange student for a few weeks.

They are both members of the 30+ Composite Club and recently received awards for highest subject score improvements of 15 pts in English and Math. WOW!

They continue to amaze me with all that they accomplish, but even better than that, they make me proud because they are genuinely good human beings. They are both incredibly kind and have servant’s hearts.

Truly a blessing to be their teacher & mentor. đź’•
