Bo’s Bulldog Field Day brought the competition, energy, and plenty of Bulldog spirit to Welcome Week! 🐾🏀🎾❄ Students showed up ready to play in the basketball and pickleball tournaments, enjoy snow cones, and have an afternoon of fun in the Pinkerton Center. Congratulations to the winners in each category, who took home medals and Bulldog bragging rights! Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a great day. The Backyard was the place to be during Welcome Week last week! 💙🐾 Bo’s Backyard Lunch brought Bulldogs together for Raising Cane’s, Cake House brownies, music from DJ Hollygrove on Da Track, local vendors, games, dancing, and plenty of fun. The Nelson Administration Building will close at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 31, for data processing. We’ll be back open and ready to help on Tuesday, September 1.

Bo’s Sundaes with the President gave students the chance to enjoy a sweet treat, connect with President Dr. Jason Smith and campus leaders, and pick up a free TC backpack. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special!

Bo’s Backpack Drop helped hundreds of TC students start the semester with a brand-new backpack and plenty of Bulldog spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible and welcomed our students back to campus!

Bo’s Backyard Lunch was a blast! 🐾💚 Great food, great company, and plenty of Bulldog spirit made for another fun Welcome Week afternoon!

Now it’s time for a little friendly competition! 🏀🏓 Bo’s Field Day is TODAY from 12–2 p.m. in the Pinkerton Center, featuring our basketball and pickleball tournaments!

🍧 BONUS: We’ll have FREE snow cones for the first 200 students outside the Pinkerton Center, so come early, grab a snow cone, and join the fun!

Hey TC Students,
You don't want to miss Bo's Backyard Lunch today!! 11am-1pm in the Pinkerton Center! Thank you to Cake House for making our dessert!!

600 BROWNIES. 😮‍💨

What you’re looking at is almost THREE DAYS of work for our friends over at Texarkana College. 💙 25 big pans of scratch-made chocolate brownies, individually wrapped, stickered and ready for Bo’s Backyard Lunch!

Just to put into perspective what it takes to make 600 Cake House brownies:

🧈 37.5 pounds of butter
🥚 300 eggs — 25 DOZEN
😳 about 72 pounds of sugar
🌾 about 20 pounds of flour
🍫 about 14 pounds of cocoa powder

That’s over 140 POUNDS of ingredients right there, and that’s not even counting everything that goes into the recipe. 😮‍💨

A HUGE thank you to Texarkana College for continuing to trust Cake House with the big stuff. We appreciate y’all more than you know! 🫶

Now that we’ve officially survived the brownie factory 😂 we’re going HOME to take us a lil nap. We’ll be back rested up and ready to serve y’all at 2PM today!
