Volunteers Needed - We Could Really Use a Hand!
Our Kidtastic Fishing Derby is approaching very quickly, and we had hoped we could manage things behind the scenes without having to make this post.
Over the years, we've grown this derby into an event that hundreds of children and families enjoy completely free of charge. It's something we're incredibly proud of, but it takes a tremendous amount of effort and volunteer labour to make it happen. That's why we're reaching out today.
We could really use some extra hands for setup at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Bobby Ferguson Park at the Lakeside Pavilion.
Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the morning, your help would make a huge difference and help ensure another successful day for the kids.
If you've ever enjoyed seeing the smiles, the excitement, and the memories this event creates, we hope you'll consider answering this call for help for hosting an activity. Community events are only possible when communities come together.

Arkansas high school students: contact Brad Bailey or Opportunities Inc to volunteer this summer. Contact your high school counselor about how to submit appropriate documentation toward the Arkansas graduation requirement of 75+ community service learning hours.
