Ten high school graduates pursuing aircraft mechanic training at Texarkana College have faced unreliable vehicles, job struggles and even food shortages since moving to Texarkana. After the college’s aviation director shared their story on Facebook, the community rallied with offers of meals, tires, vehicle repairs and other support for the determined group. Link in comments.

Shout out to those incredible A&P students who went above and beyond all weekend to make the Airshow such a huge success! All of our students worked incredibly hard, but Carl, Sam, Dillon, Ngassia, and Grant all were repeatedly recognized by staff, vendors, and spectators for their efforts. Thanks guys!!
