Let’s recognize Sulav Sharma, our 2025–2026 Student Council member! Sulav has been an active member of Student Council for two years, showing dedication and involvement throughout his time in the organization. He is also a two-year member of National Honor Society and HOSA, demonstrating his commitment to both academic excellence and leadership.

This fall, Sulav will attend the University of Texas at Dallas, where he plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. His hard work, determination, and involvement have made a positive impact, and we look forward to all he will accomplish in the future!

Let’s recognize Staten Crossland, our 2025–2026 Student Council officer! Staten has been a dedicated member and officer in Student Council for three years, showing leadership and commitment throughout high school.

Beyond Student Council, Staten has been involved in a wide variety of activities across campus. Staten participated in Theatre and Art for one year each, while also competing in varsity tennis for three years and JV tennis for one year. In addition, Staten has been a member of Yearbook for three years, serving as a Group Page Editor for two years, and has contributed to PGTV for three years.

Staten has also been an active member of Keyettes for three years, National Honor Society for two years, National Technical Honor Society for one year, and Quill & Scroll for three years. Through involvement in academics, media, leadership, and athletics, Staten has made a meaningful impact on the school community. We are excited to see all that the future holds!

Let’s recognize Taylor Harding-Black, our 2025–2026 Student Council member! Taylor has been an active member of Student Council for three years, showing dedication and leadership throughout high school.

In addition to Student Council, Taylor has been involved in many activities across campus. She has been a member of Showstoppers for four years, Keyettes for three years, and PGTV for three years. Taylor has also contributed to the Yearbook staff for three years, serving two years as the Elementary and Intermediate Editor, helping capture and preserve important memories for students and staff.

This fall, Taylor will attend Texas A&M University–Texarkana, where she plans to major in Elementary Education and continue dancing on the spirit team. Her creativity, leadership, and school spirit have made a lasting impact, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in the future!

Let’s recognize Swekriti Bashyal, our 2025–2026 Student Council member! Swekriti has been an active member of Student Council for two years and served as Co-Historian, helping document and highlight the organization’s events and achievements. She is also a two-year member of Keyettes, showing her dedication to service and involvement in her school community.
This fall, Swekriti will attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she plans to major in Economics on a pre-law track. Her leadership, commitment, and positive impact have made a lasting difference, and we look forward to all she will accomplish in the future!

Let’s recognize Heath Wood, our 2025–2026 Student Council member! Heath has been an active member of Student Council and currently serves as an officer, as well as the DASH Chair, demonstrating strong leadership and dedication. He is also an active member and officer in HOSA, showing his commitment to both service and future career goals.

In addition to his involvement in organizations, Heath has been a dedicated athlete, competing in both varsity and JV tennis. His hard work and determination have been evident both on and off the court.

This fall, Heath will attend the University of Texas at Austin, where he plans to continue his academic journey. His leadership, involvement, and drive have made a meaningful impact, and we look forward to all he will accomplish in the future!
