We had a great time packing Samaritan Purse Boxes with OCC!! What a great opportunity to be a small part of something that is so Big. A lot of time and thought went into each box that was prepared by each student as the focused on another child their age that is need of the love of Christ. We prayed over our boxes and are trusting God that they go into the right hands of the child receiving. A big thankyou to Mrs. Charlene as she came as a representative of OCC and shared with our kids the testimonies of the children and families that receive a box! She helped make sure each box was packed properly, because our kids stuffed them good! 😂

Thankyou Mrs Brenda for coming and speaking to all of our students and sharing your knowledge on your Indian artifacts!!
All the classes enjoyed hearing about the history of each one and how it was used. At recess we had kids trying to recreate a lot of the Indian tools they saw in your showcase. We all enjoyed your visit!!

LEC student of the week is Hadlee Leeper!! She is one of our 1st graders and has warmed our hearts with her smile!
She is always eager to help her teacher in the classroom and others if needed.
Today she jumped right in without being asked and helped sweep up after lunch, which shows signs of great leadership! Way to go Hadlee!!
