MicroSociety is officially underway!

What an exciting week of learning, leadership, and new beginnings! Our students found out their official job placements on Monday, taking their first steps into their roles as members of our MicroSociety community!

Our student leaders didn’t waste any time getting to work! Our Ward Representatives and Student Government held their FIRST Town Hall Meeting to discuss, debate, and vote on important decisions that will shape our community — including the final pay rates, taxes, and rent!

We are so excited to watch our students put their leadership skills into action as they learn about economics, civic responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of having a voice in their community. These real-world experiences are helping our students understand what it takes to build and maintain a successful society!

Be on the lookout next week during fall break as we spotlight the incredible community partners who are helping make our MicroSociety launch a success! We are so grateful for the support, collaboration, and community connections that are helping bring this experience to life for our students. Stay tuned!

TWO WEEKS. TWICE THE SPIRIT!

We’ve got TWO exciting weeks of fun coming up after Fall Break, and we’re ready to fill our schools with Razorback spirit! While our dress-up weeks are back-to-back, they each have a different purpose and we think that’s something worth celebrating!

WEEK 1: ELEMENTARY HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK | OCT. 19–23
Get creative and show off your Hog Spirit with fun themes all week long!
🎨 Monday – Color Explosion Day
🎄 Tuesday – Holiday Mash-Up Day
🕰️ Wednesday – Decades Day (Paint the Town Red-Homecoming Parade 6:00 p.m.)

Our 6th Annual Harvest at the Heights is coming up on October 29, and we need our Heights family to help make it a sweet success!

We are currently accepting donations of:

🍬 Individually wrapped, unopened bags of candy
🧁 Individually wrapped baked goods for the Cake Walk
🥤 Coke products for the Coke Walk

If you’re able to donate, please send items to the front office by Monday, October 26. Every donation helps us create a fun and memorable evening for our students and families!

Our halls were full of PINK today as our students and staff showed their spirit and helped us make Pink Out Day one to remember!

A HUGE congratulations to our Pink Out Drawing Prize Winners! We loved seeing everyone get into the spirit, and these students were lucky enough to take home a special prize!

It's the first Friday of the month, and that means a SOARing Celebration at The Heights! This morning, our students who had perfect attendance for September were able to run through our hype tunnel and receive an attendance bonus and a gift certificate for a meal at Cane's! We also drew for our Raffle winners from our Performance Bonuses, and revealed our Student of the month for each grade level! We SOAR at The Heights!!
