🔔 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL: BEYOND THE BELL

Today we’re stepping into Mr. Duncan’s AP Physics class, where students put physics into action with a projectile motion lab. Their challenge: use experimentation, measurements, and calculations to determine the angle of a projectile. 🎯

It’s one thing to learn the formula. It’s another to see the science actually happen.

This is learning at Texas High….where the possibilities are endless 🐅.

We think Texas High may have found its newest Tiger mascot. 🥹

After being stuck for three days or more, this tiny kitten was finally rescued by Jessie, one of our amazing custodians on campus, and the fire department.

But Jessie’s kindness didn’t stop with the rescue. She made sure this little one had more than just a safe way out. She gave her a safe place to land, a home, and her forever family. 🧡

Jessie is one of those people who quietly shows what it means to care, not because anyone is watching, but simply because it’s who she is.

We’re so thankful for her big heart and for the firefighters who helped bring this little Tiger to safety.

Welcome to Tiger Country, little one! 🐅

Calling all Texas High Staff, Students, and Community!

Before you toss it or let it keep collecting dust, the Floral Design Class may be able to put it to good use!

They’re currently collecting vases, empty Oui yogurt jars, coffee mugs, silk flowers, and ribbon for upcoming class projects. 🎨💐

Donations can be dropped off in Room 59 by your student, at the front office, or you can contact Stephanie Hodgson.

Clean out those cabinets and craft closets and help our students turn your extras into something beautiful! 🧡🖤

The 2026-2027 school year is officially underway and our Class of 2027 kicked off their first day of senior year with Senior Breakfast, good food, plenty of laughs, and one of the first of many “lasts” they’ll share together this year.

A huge thank you to our senior parents for all the time, effort, and love you put into making this morning so special for our seniors. We appreciate everything you do to help make these moments memorable!
