We are excited to share one final update on the TJHS expansion and renovation project!

The new classrooms and renovated spaces are now in use, cabinetry is installed, and our students and staff have settled into their new learning spaces. While the new metal lockers are still scheduled to arrive in mid-September, temporary accommodations are working well and the spaces are fully functional.

This project has made it possible to transition of sixth grade to TJHS, provided much-needed classroom space, and created future opportunities for improvements at TGS.

Thank you to our contractors, staff, Board of Education, and Wooden Shoe community for helping bring this project to completion. It has been great to see our students filling these new spaces and making them their own!

What a wonderful first week of school!

Our students have been busy making new friends, learning classroom routines, putting away and organizing their supplies, exploring their classrooms, and getting back into the swing of school! There have been lots of smiles, learning, laughter, and new experiences along the way.

We are so proud of how well our students have adjusted and jumped into a new school year. A big THANK YOU to our amazing staff and families for helping make our first week such a great one!

6th grade students played a game called "Card Connection" to get to know each other and find similarities with one another. Each group had to find something that all members had in common, both school and non-school related. Once they did, they wrote it on a notecard. When time was up, the group had to work together to build a tower with their cards, the more similarities they found, they more they had to use for their tower!
